A Computer Science student at CSU Bakersfield who builds apps, games, and websites that people enjoy using.
After graduating high school in 2020, I started a degree in Nursing at CSU Bakersfield. Three years in, I realized Nursing didn't fulfill my need to create. After a lot of thought, and a suggestion from a friend, I switched to Computer Science.
I took my first coding class in Fall 2023 and was hooked instantly. I love building usable apps, programs, and websites, and the more challenging and complex a project gets, the more I want to solve it. I also love collaborating: working with like-minded people gives me the energy to build things I couldn't build alone.
Outside of programming and school, I love learning languages and traveling. I'm currently learning Japanese and plan to study abroad in Japan. I've also been to Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, and Thailand. When I'm home, you'll find me playing video games or hanging out with friends and family.
Right now, I'm looking for a software engineering internship where I can learn how driven teams work in a fast-paced environment, and keep building projects that matter to people.
